CBD - Pre & Post workout

More and more athletes are using CBD to help them train and recover during their sports activities.  These include professional athletes, Olympic athletes, fitness enthusiasts, runners and body builders.  Everyone can use CBD to make their workouts better and to take care of themselves between sessions. 

Pre-workout:   

  • 25-50mg of CBD tincture oil 1 hour prior to workout OR
  • 2-3 vapes of CBD 15-30 minutes prior to workout

Post-workout:

  • 25-50mg of CBD tincture oil immediately after workout OR
  • 2-3 vapes of CBD immediately after workout

Later that day or evening, a lot of people top off their CBD with:

  • 25mg of CBD tincture oil OR
  • 1-2 vapes of CBD

As needed for pain or soreness:

  • 25mg of CBD tincture oil OR
  • 1-2 vapes of CBD

SOME POINTS TO REMEMBER:

  • always start low and work up:  listen to your body
  • CBD by mouth usually takes about an hour to kick in:  plan accordingly
  • CBD vaping has been safe and effective for a lot of people
  • Always hydrate well when training; take care of your general health
  • Use common sense and don't over-train or do too much after an injury
